Bogus plumber cleans out bakery

Now here is one 'plumber' (pictured) you do not want anywhere near your drains. Detectives are appealing for members of the public with help in identifying the man who stole purses and cash from restaurant workers on west London's famous Portobello Road. The suspect entered Gail's Bakery posing as a plumber and asked to speak to the manager. He said he was from the Water Board and needed to examine pipes as works were due to be carried out in the road outside the restaurant.

Kelly Hoppen mystified as fox graffiti vanishes from gates

Notting Hill Interior Designer to the stars, Kelly Hoppen (pictured below) has fallen prey to an unusual theft, the disappearance of a white fox graffiti daubed at the bottom of a black gate leading to her design practice along Chepstow Road in Notting Hill.  The distraught designer has appealed for help on micro-blogging site Twitter, she wrote: "Everyone help ... Remember my graffitti well it disappeared yesterday I am gutted who and why ???"
