Westfield lights out for Earth Hour

Westfield London in Shepherd's Bush has joined the global skyline in plunging into darkness for WWF’s Earth Hour at 8.30pm on the 31 March to support the world’s biggest call for action to protect the planet. WWF’s Earth Hour is a simple idea that’s become a global phenomenon, with hundreds of millions of people turning off their lights to show they want to create a brighter future for the planet. Spanning a record 135 countries in 2011, this year’s Earth Hour has become even bigger.

Murdoch seeks 'world domination' with Holland Park Sun ads

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is not taking any chances with the launch of his new paper, The Sun on Sunday. He is orchestrating an expensive publicity campaign on the country's most visible outdoor digital billboard on Holland Park Roundabout. The site, owned by outdooor advertising firm, Ocean, christened 'Westfield Domination' promises to deliver 90% of Westfield London’s audience estimated at around 300,000 annually.

Bag 'Golden Balls' Beckham at Westfield

Well, if you can't get your man those silky footballing skills, outlandish tatoos or lush locks, fear not, all is not lost. Westfield London provided a glimpse of David Beckham's new collaboration with high street fashion chain H&M. A giant shopping bag with a moody facade of Beckham in his underwear greeted pedestrians and shoppers at the approach to the shopping mall.
